About Me

I'm a product manager with over eight years of experience specializing in consumer-facing, developer-centric, and multimedia-oriented enterprise products. I started my career as a self-taught web developer and designer, and I still enjoy exploring new technologies and making things on the web.

My approach as a product manager is to balance business goals with customer needs using product sense, data, and feedback to collaborate with cross-functional teams. I'm known for my ability to speak passionately and knowledgeably with customers and users.

I spent nearly five years managing the streaming video players at JW Player, which play millions of videos monthly on sites like CNBC, IMDb, and Business Insider. I now work at Truepic, a Microsoft and Adobe-funded company at the forefront of media transparency technology. I own tools that enable creators to securely sign metadata into images and videos, proving its authenticity.

Timeline

2022 / Now

Truepic provides transparency-as-a-service technology to improve trust in content across the internet. I own fraud-prevention mobile camera SDKs that prevents manipulation, spoofing, and hacking of photos and videos and securely signs provenance metadata directly into the file, and a web library that verifies and displays that information over media.

2017 / 2021

I led product for streaming video players across devices at JW Player, an online video platform serving prominent media properties across the world.

2015 / 2017

I got my start as a product manager owning the “companies” side of the diversity recruiting platform, then a Series-A funded startup.
