Turning “meh” into magnificent

I’m Alicia Hurst, a product leader who makes things better. Whether it’s a clunky process, an underwhelming product, or a doc no one wants to read, I elevate it to what it should be, with clarity and care.

With over a decade of experience building customer-facing enterprise SaaS, I’ve shipped things that scale and matter. At Truepic, I led a technically ambitious product line from 0→1, tackling visual misinformation with image verification tech. Before that, I helped build JW Player’s core streaming technology used in the Super Bowl, and PowerToFly’s DEI hiring platform to place candidates in the Fortune 500.

My roots are in front-end coding. I still get a kick out of writing markup by hand, not because I have to, but because I like it.

I live in Brooklyn, where you’ll find me snapping street photos on a walk, playing pickleball, or following a curiosity trail on Wikipedia.
